Random NY Times login generator
For an easier way to read articles from the New York Times' web site (like the Sony stereo article below) you can use this handy page.

Total Recorder
A piece of software that can be used to record sound from a variety of sources, including streaming audio. Very cool, made by a Canadian company, and very reasonably priced!!

TCPA/Palladium FAQ
Frequently asked questions about the Trusted Computing Platform Alliance, and Microsoft's future implementation of it (known as Palladium). Scary shit.

A Stereo That's Small and Digital
(New York Times article - username: annoying, password: annoying) Sony is coming out with a bookshelf stereo that has a built-in 20GB hard drive. Not only will it record CD tracks to the hard drive, but it has TiVo-like features that allow you to schedule recordings of radio broadcasts. Looks pretty cool, costs around $1000, but like the article says - hopefully other manufacturers will start making more reasonably priced knock-offs of it.

The annoying Dell guy gets a Mac
An amusing cartoon from "Macboy".

What If It's All Been A Big Fat Lie?
A re-examination of current dietary methodology (low calorie, low fat) versus the Atkins diet (high fat, low carbohydrate). Very interesting read if you've ever dealt with dieting before.
