Total Recorder
A great product made by a Canadian company that allows you to record ANY audio to your hard disk. The greatest use for this would be to record streaming audio sources to WAV, MP3, or other sound formats. The Standard Edition is very reasonably priced ($17.95). And no, I don't work for them, I just think it's an incredible product at a great price!

One of the reviewers for this book gives a pretty good description of its contents:

Opt-out Links
Links for opting out of various ad agencies' cookie tracking and pop-up ads. Speaking of pop-up ads, though...

PopUpBuster is useful for killing pop-up ads, provided you're using Internet Explorer as a web browser. It allows you to temporarily disable it by pressing the Shift key, in the event that a pop-up window that's NOT an ad isn't working properly for you.

In on the joke in Silicon Valley
